The Butchers Daughter in Venice

Hello there! I’m back! 4 months of absence is too long…  but its been 4 amazing months. I just been with my baby boy all the time and haven’t cared so much for anything else, to be honest with you. For me its been so important to just follow his schedule and getting to know him and taking it really, really, reeeeeally easy. He is the best thing ever!

Anyway! A new fantastic spot just opened on About Kinney this morning. The Butchers Daughter! What a beautiful place… and good! its heaven for the superfoodie. They serve vegan food, raw smoothies and juices, wellness teas, elixirs plus there is a cute little market place at the entrance. Breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner!

Me and baby had breakfast there this morning. I had yogurt made of coconut meat, granola with berries and a water flower cold pressed juice plus a cold brew latte. very good!

getting nourished by the ocean

Venice is Venice – cozy/artsy/edgy and all, but it’s also same old, same old and I live at the end of that circus.  I just have to push the stroller thru it and head out and get nourished by the ocean. Aahhhh……. so nice. By the way! If you’re having a baby, get a baby nest. It’s so nice to put in the stroller for extra comfort for the tiny one and it’s perfect to keep in bed while nursing during the first weeks. Baby sleeps so good and mom and dad are close. I highly recommend it.

Baby bubble

He is here, our little bundle! He is 5 days old but it feels like we had him much much longer. He is healthy and amazing and super cute with big blue eyes and dark hair, just like daddy. It’s our second day at home and we are getting installed and figuring eachother out. I love this! It’s scary and overwhelming but lovely… all at the same time.
